While it sticks to a hardware set somewhat similar to that of previous Moto G models, the Gen 3 sports significantly more capable camera sensors -- specifically, a 13-megapixel CCT dual-LED flash main camera 
and a 5-megapixel fixed-focus selfie cam with auto HDR .
As mentioned earlier, its middling hardware consists of a 1.4GHz quad-core CPU, an Adreno 306 graphics chip, and only 1GB of RAM 
. Its 5-inch Gorilla Glass 3 screen also stays with an HD resolution , instead of rising to 1080p Full HD. That said, its display is adorned with IPX7 waterproofing for this sequel. Motorola also lets you personalize your Moto G3 with Moto Maker , which includes shells in different colors as well as an engraving option.
It may have stayed in the same Android class, but the Moto G 3rd Gen evidently packs more perks than its predecessors.
