Motorola Moto G Turbo Pros & Cons Review

- Analysis by KJ David

The water- and dust-proof Moto G Turbo Edition drives into the mid-tier market with a 2470mAh TurboPower battery that does not really impress us, considering that it was roughly the average for 5-inch smartphones upon inception (but it promises a 15 minute charging will yield 6 hours of use ), a 13-megapixel FHD main camera with a dual LED color-balancing flash , and an eight-core Snapdragon 615 CPU (2GB RAM) among its pros.

While it settles for an HD-only 720p display resolution (5-inch Gorilla Glass 3 screen ) and lacks NFC (Near Field Communication) , specs like a selfie flash (using the screen) function accompanying its 5-megapixel FF front camera somehow make those cons sound forgivable. It also offers various Motorola Shells and Flip Shells for an extra layer of personalization .

So, at the end of the day, the Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition's mix of pros and cons is not perfect, yet remains a decent addition to the brand's mid-range catalog, but heck!... it should have offered more turbo battery-life (even if it claims to charge it quickly) to support its presumptuous moniker.
