Sony Xperia Z5 Review & Pros And Cons

- Analysis by KJ David

The Xperia Z4's (Sony's previous flagship) sequel sticks to a Full HD display resolution , despite the high demand for QHD (2560 x 1440) flagships around its release. It also settles for a 5-megapixel selfie camera , while a few other premium-specked alternatives boast 8 megapixels or higher. Those aside, its mix of pros and cons does not fall short of raising it to flagship stature.

The Z5's main camera stands at 23 megapixels -- one of the highest resolutions among 2015 devices. Signature Xperia Z features like the PS4 Remote Play as well as an IP68/65 water- and dust-proofing are among its selling points, too. Moreover, it joins the list of high-grade models with fingerprint scanners on board . Last on the list is a split-octa-core Snapdragon 810 64-bit processor coupled with a 3GB RAM.

In conclusion, we might not have gotten everything we expected, but the Xperia Z5 is a more-advanced alternative to previous Sony headliners nonetheless.
