While premium-class would be a reasonable way to describe Sony's 2015 Xperia Z5, its offering of pros and cons is outdone by this 5.5-inch Premium variant, which scratches the Full HD 428ppi display for a 4K (3840 x 2160) TRILUMINOS screen on an impressive 806ppi
pixel density. Consequently, its screen is the most advanced (as of its release) platform for the PS4 Remote Play
feature unique to Sony Androids. In addition, it also has the highest battery capacity among all Z5 versions, standing at 3430mAh (with Quick Charge 2.0)
.
As for its similarities to the base model, the Premium sports a 23-megapixel hybrid autofocus main camera , with the 4K video capture and pulsed LED flash intact. It also shares the 32GB memory
and 3GB RAM
, which are minor cons for us, considering that a few other flagship devices come with 64GB/128GB memories and 4GB RAMs. That being said, we are happy to find the same Snapdragon 810 64-bit eight-core CPU
driving this model. Bringing together its profile is a fingerprint sensor implanted into the power key
and an IP65/68 splash-proof shell
.
As far as we are concerned, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium packs enough pros to show all previous Sony flagships who's boss.
