Description:
Fluttering its way into the flagship Android garden is HTC's 2015 Butterfly 3 (more popularly known as the J Butterfly in Japan), a 5.2-inch QHD smartphone that features a Duo Camera setup, which basically means that it has a secondary sensor (largely for depth-of-field information) backing its 20.2-megapixel 4K-video main camera. In addition to that, it sports a 13-megapixel f/2.0 Full HD front-facing camera.
Hardware-wise, it is rigged with a 2GHz + 1.5GHz octa-core processor, a 3GB RAM, and a 2700mAh battery. It also supports 2TB's worth of extra space for its 32GB native storage. Lastly, HTC's BoomSound technology merges with Dolby to deliver audio through its dual frontal speakers, while an IP67 casing ties all its specs together.
Also known as: HTC 3 Butterfly, HTC Butterfly III, HTC J Butterfly (Japan).
