vivo Y21 Review of Pros And Cons

Vivo expands its entry-level Android family with the Y21, which offers nothing more than a 4.5-inch 854 x 480 (FWVGA) display , a 1GB-only RAM , and a 3G-only network connectivity -- a good number of other low-end 2015 Q4 smartphones work with 4G LTE. Moreover, it sports a low-caliber pair of 5- and 2-megapixel cameras , which is at least accompanied by options like Voice and Palm Capture . Another disturbing con is the vivo Y21's mere 1900mAh battery , as the average as of its release floated somewhere around 2100mAh.

On the flip side, the Y21 offers a 16GB memory expandable by up to 128GB , which sounds more-than-enough for a mass-tier smartphone like itself. Vivo's own Funtouch OS 2.1 (based on Android 5.1) also gives its specs a bit more flavor than those of many other basic models.

In the end, however, the pros and cons carried by the Y21 might make it too basic for its own good.
