Description:
Cubot's X16 is a 5-inch smartphone that marries some sophisticated physical and imaging specs to a modest hardware setup. Its approvingly-thin 6.2mm casing, which is crafted using zinnic alloy (Cubot says it provides higher wear resistance than the more-conventional aluminum alloy), is home to a 16-megapixel 5-element-lens camera with a dual LED (450mA each) flash and an 8-megapixel selfie camera with 1.9-micron pixels. Its Full HD screen is protected by a 2.5-curved glass panel coupled with a 10-micrometer AF film claiming to prevent scratches from the likes of box cutters and knives. Under the hood, it runs on a quad-core 1.3GHz 64-bit CPU with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM, while a so-so 2500mAh battery is on power duties. It comes with 16GB of inbuilt memory as well as standard (for high-end models) 4G LTE Cat 4 connectivity.
Also called Cubot X-16.
